Stay Connected in the Air
American Airlines is expanding Wi-Fi Service. There are those of us, probably most of us, that would love to stay connected in the air. Especially on those very long overseas trips. American Airlines has expanded their in flight wi-fi service to include the 100 MD-80 which is about 2/3 of it’s scheduled planes to be fitted with the Gogo Installation. Gogo is an inflight portal site that will allow all passengers, if signed up, to connect to the internet once you reach 10,000 feet or higher. So far positive feedback is the main outcome of the interent service that started back in 2008. By the end of 2009 you can expect to be able to stay connected, at least when flying American Airlines, even in the air. Now if they can only make it so the chair in front of you doesn’t lean back so far, to stop you from opening your computer screen fully!
